A Long-Term, Passive Approach to Nutrient Control at Bauneg Beg Lake, Maine

Since 2018, Mackworth-Enviro’s passive in-water treatment system has been continuously installed at Bauneg Beg Lake in Maine, supporting the local lake association’s long-term commitment to clean and healthy waters.

The system has operated with minimal annual maintenance while demonstrating measurable phosphate reduction, illustrating its effectiveness as a long-duration, low-impact nutrient management solution.
